Program

The FPC  Nursery School’s program is planned to make young children feel loved, secure and self confident. Children will hear and learn simple prayers. They will learn to interact with other children their own age and pursue their interests in  Creative Arts, Music, Rhythms, Science, Oral Expression, Books, Stories, Listening Centers, Dramatizations, Fine and Gross Motor Activities, Block Building, Cooking Experiences, Snack Time, Outside Playground Activities, Sand and Water Play and Field Trips. The activities and materials are carefully chosen to help children in their development. They can explore and discover a world around them while under safe supervision and guidance of our staff.

Facilities

The school occupies rooms in the education area of the church complex located at 1101 Bedford Street.

The school is arranged with well equipped work areas, educational equipment and an enclosed playground area.

Eligibility

All programs are open to children three to five years of age. Three year old's may only enroll for the two or three day programs. A child must be two years and nine months upon entering school. All children must be toilet trained.

School Terms and Hours

The school term begins in mid September and runs to the end of May. School vacations follow the public school calendar. The school’s hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
